Kristen Bland joined the A21 team in 2009, when she left Grand Rapids, MI, and moved across the world to join the early efforts in Sydney, Australia. She was a part of the founding team for the A21 California office in 2010, started the A21 Washington DC office in 2018, and relocated to Texas to help establish A21’s new global headquarters in 2020. Throughout the years, Kristen has continued to combine her knowledge of the present state of human trafficking with specialized, organizational strategies to raise awareness through campaigns and advocacy, produce prevention education programs, and lead a global team of specialists in the fight for freedom. She holds a Master of Public Policy degree from American University.
