Brian Chang is a Principal Technologist at VMware. Brian has over 25 years of progressive IT business operations and marketing experience with the past 10 years being focused on customer advocacy....building superuser communities that transform enterprise customers into product advocates. His previous major wins include launching and leading two highly successful customer advocacy programs that still live and thrive today...VMware Tanzu Vanguard and Red Hat Accelerators.
Prior to VMware, Brian has worked for Red Hat, Snapfish, Sun Micro, Time Warner, AT&T and CNN in the fields of customer advocacy, product marketing, business operations, branding, research and social media.
In addition to his comprehensive work experience, he also taught MBA advanced marketing at the University of San Francisco, where in 2009, he received the SOBAM Teacher of the Year award.
