Chris Sterling is Product Line Manager for Spring Cloud Commercial products, Spring Cloud Gateway and Spring Cloud Services, at VMware. Chris has an extensive technology, product management, process, and consulting background. Chris has been in software development for 25+ years and started using Spring Framework since its infancy. Chris has applied Extreme Programming, Scrum and Lean software development and product planning practices as he has learned over the past 20 years. Chris published the book Managing Software Debt: Building for Inevitable Change with Addison-Wesley in 2010 to provide a framework for teams and organizations to assess and manage debt in their software systems.
